YOUR ROLE: 

The Casting Administrator will be responsible for implementing and coordinating talent logistics and scheduling across all of our studios. The Casting Administrator will report directly to the Casting Department Team Lead, in addition to the Director of Casting. This role is suited for a candidate that has high emotional intelligence, data driven with high attention to details, is highly motivated and passionate about supporting creative talent, with a background in building programs and strategies to identify, cast, and develop new on-camera personalities.


YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Administer and coordinate mutli-faceted casting assignments independently and without significant oversight, including: 

    • Talent travel, accommodations, transportation

    • Talent schedules and work details and call sheets

  • Coordinate and manage in-person talent appearances

  • Analyze, verify, and manage expense reports

  • Engage with agents and performers on matters of significance.

  • Assist and advise the Casting Department Team Lead with talent bookings

  • Assist and advise the Director of Casting on matters of significance

  • Work in tandem with various Production Departments to ensure talent is set up and confirmed for scheduled productions.

  • Work quickly and efficiently with various tracking tools to keep relevant talent information up-to-date (Smartsheets, Google Drive, Slack, Dropbox, Airtable, etc.)

  • Coordinate with Production Coordinators to ensure talent payments and up-to-date payment information is timely submitted to the Accounting Department.

  • Coordinate with the Accounting Department to ensure accuracy and currentness of payment talent information.

  • Maintain strict professionalism, punctuality, and confidentiality with regard to talent identifying information in accordance with Company policies and applicable law.

Job requirements

YOU:

  • 3 to 5 years proven experience in Production, Casting, and/or Public Relations

  • Proficiency in project management and software (Excel, Smartsheets, Microsoft Office, Google Suite, Monday, Dropbox, etc.)

  • Excellent organizational, verbal, and writing skills

  • Must exercise independent judgment, discretion, and confidentiality.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with the ability to multitask.

  • Positive attitude and ability to be flexible in an ever-changing environment.

  • Proven ability to solve problems and interact with a wide variety of personalities.
