As a fast growing company with multiple hubs in 3 different countries and 20+ national cultures, our HR needs comes with exciting challenges taylor-made for a star HR professional. We are looking for a seasoned professional to join us in the role of our Director of HR. Reporting directly to the Vice-President of Operations, as Director of Human Resources you will be a key collaborator in the strategic development of the Kodify Media Group, overseeing all aspects of the HR function of the company. 

While being on our fast growth trajectory, we do see the need to define and implement across our various locations a more standardized HR structure and processes to address the basic elements of HR (contract, payroll, hiring, PTO, employee legal documentation, etc.), as well as to come up with broad and strategic projects aimed at making Kodify a world class organization (performance assessment, onboarding, compensation, recognition, career planning, team building and events).

You will work with them to improve work relationships, build morale within the team, increase productivity and retention.

Finally, your excellent communication skills allow you to collaborate with the executives to help support and carry the internal communication to the next level.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the transactional operations of the HR functions of the company;

  • Lead and execute on various transformative HR projects throughout the year;

  • Develop and advise on individual training plans for employees;

  • Act as the go to person for the managers and all employees;

  • Oversee payroll processes and PTO management;

  • Support the executive team with insight on HR strategies and best practices;

  • Play a major role as one of the leaders of the company culture and value;

  • Compile, maintain and report on regular reports and KPI on the company HR health;

  • Contribute to the company's external communication on social media;


  • Master degree in Human Resource Management;

  • CRHA certification;

  • 8+ years HR experience preferably IT and/or in fast paced business environment;

  • At least 5+ years staff management experience and managing HR project;

  • International experience;

  • Full bilingual proficiency (English/French), extra points for Spanish;

  • Superior communication skills;

  • Available to travel to USA and Europe 1-3 times per year;

  • Excellent organization skills;Ability to complete work independently;

  • Good knowledge of canadian employment law
