You will help deliver QA Best Practices and maintain quality in our applications. Working closely with the QA Lead, developers and other technical teams to ensure the quality of our code base is constantly improved.

What will you do?

  • Designing and documenting test cases and plans

  • Performing manual testing of web applications and services by using browser DevTools and Postman

  • Identifying and recording of bugs, and verifying fixes in Jira 

  • Assisting development team with troubleshooting and reproducing issues


Where and when:

From wherever you want, the position is fully remote in the EU.

We’re very flexible about when you get your work done, but we do have some core hours where we like to overlap in order to promote collaboration and low-latency communication between team members (10:00 to 15:00 CET).

  • Our daily virtual stand-ups are important for us but other than that, you’re free to manage your own time.

Job requirements

Must have:

  • A curious mind that can't resist clicking that button, opening that menu, and asking "but what if I break it?"

  • General knowledge of software testing processes and best practices

  • Strong analytical thinking and a knack for connecting the dots

  • Ability to clearly write test cases and log defects (bonus points if your bug reports are works of art)

  • Skills in debugging issues and working with developers to turn "uh-oh" into "all fixed"

  • Basic database knowledge (e.g., MySQL, SQL, or MongoDB) and the ability to run simple queries to help verify data

  • Great communication skills (emoji fluency counts 😉)

  • Strong self-organization and time management

  • A genuine passion for QA and making awesome products even better

  • A good sense of humour — because testing is serious work, but we don't take ourselves too seriously


Bonus points:

  • Basic git/github skills

  • Experience working remotely and with remote teams

  • ISTQB Certification

  • Knowledge and experience in JIRA

  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process

  • Mention the word platypus in your application

  • Data validation and Google Analytics experience is a plus

  •  Experience with BrowserStack or similar cross-browser/device testing tools
