YOUR ROLE:
Kodify Media Group is seeking a dynamic Social Media Manager with strong content creation skills to join our innovative social media team. This hybrid role blends on-the-ground content capture and editing with high-level social media strategy and community engagement. The ideal candidate thrives in both creative and analytical spaces -someone who can craft thumb-stopping content, build innovative strategies that grow and foster deeper relationships with our highly engaged online community of over 14M followers.
You’ll work across Instagram, TikTok, X (Twitter) to help shape the visual and editorial voice of one of the most visible entertainment brands online. You’ll report directly to the Head of Social Media, as well as partner closely with Creative, Strategy & Product teams to execute brand campaigns, identify performance trends, and oversee content calendars that drive growth, awareness, and advocacy.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
STRATEGY & MANAGEMENT
Oversee day-to-day brand/s management on social media from ideation to execution across X, Instagram, TikTok.
Develop and refine social strategies that drive growth, retention, and engagement.
Craft social micro content strategy for talent leveraging on set capture, marketing shoots, events, or creating a content day.
Collaborate with top-tier talent to concept and produce micro content tailored for social platforms, ensuring alignment with each creator’s voice and brand needs.
Consistently stay up to date on algorithm changes, best practices, leveraging new and emerging platforms, tools, trends, influencers, and partnerships.
Participate in team creative brainstorms as it pertains to social first content across all channels.
Ensure all social media calendars, data sheets and docs are consistently updated and well-organized in Google Workspace to support strategic planning and team-wide transparency.
Use our insights and listening tools to understand the interests and behaviors of our community and how to best connect with them and keep them engaged.
Own analytics and reporting for assigned accounts, tracking KPIs, interpreting performance data, and making proactive optimizations to drive results.
CONTENT CAPTURE & CREATIVE
Concept, capture, and edit short-form video and photo content on set (marketing shoots, events, talent content days).
Produce high-performing content for Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and Stories.
Adapt creative assets for different platforms while maintaining cohesive brand identity.
Collaborate with talent and internal teams to ensure content is authentic, on-trend, and aligned with brand strategy.
Partner with internal creative and external teams at every stage—pre-prod, production, and post—to shape social-first assets that drive engagement and brand visibility.
ENGAGEMENT & COMMUNITY
Engage daily with followers across all platforms, respond to DMs, comments, and tagged content.
Monitor social sentiment and flag notable trends or community feedback.
Build relationships with creators, fans, and like-minded brands to expand our reach.
Assist in influencer activations and identify cross-promotional opportunities.

Job requirements
5+ years' experience in managing and growing a social media following for highly visible brands, as well as knowing which trends, brands and creators are producing the most innovative content.
Must have strong proficiency and understanding of major social platforms, including but not limited to Instagram, X TikTok, YouTube.
Solid understanding of current platform trends, meme culture, and creator space.
Hands-on experience filming and editing short-form video (Reels, TikTok, Stories).
Skilled with CapCut, Adobe (Photoshop, Premiere or After Efffects).
Highly organized with experience managing collaborative documents (Google Sheets, Docs, etc.).
Must be based in Los Angeles and able to commute for content capture days and shoots.
